Event Ticket Policies & E-commerce Purchase Terms

Los Fresnos Rodeo

Effective Date: May 1, 2026

By purchasing, accepting, or using a Los Fresnos Rodeo ticket or completing a transaction on LFRodeo.com, the purchaser and any subsequent ticket holder(s) agree to be bound by the comprehensive policies and terms of use outlined herein.

I. E-commerce & Purchase Policy

This Purchase Policy governs all financial transactions conducted through Saffire/SaffireTix, and any direct e-commerce charges made via LFRodeo.com.

Ticket Terms of Use

Each ticket features a unique identification code that allows for the redemption of the specific item or admission described. This code will be scanned for authenticity at the point of entry.

  • Duplication Prohibited: Do not make additional copies of your ticket(s). Any duplicate tickets will be rejected by the scanning system, and only the first scanned instance will be honored.
  • Authorized Sourcing: Purchase of tickets through unauthorized third parties is strictly prohibited and carries a significant risk of fraud. Los Fresnos Rodeo does not guarantee the authenticity of tickets obtained via third-party resellers or exchange platforms.
  • Revocable License: Each ticket constitutes a revocable license for entry or service. Management reserves the right to refuse admission or revoke this license without a refund for non-compliance with these terms, disorderly conduct, or unlawful sale/attempted sale of the ticket.
  • Identification: Los Fresnos Rodeo reserves the right to require a government-issued photo ID to verify the identity of the ticket holder at the time of entry.

Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability

The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and dangers incidental to the event, whether occurring prior to, during, or after the actual festivities. By attending, you agree to release Los Fresnos Rodeo, the facility, participants, Saffire/SaffireTix, and their respective affiliates and representatives from any responsibility regarding related claims or injuries.

II. Refunds, Disputes, and Cancellations

By proceeding with a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the following financial terms.

All Sales Are Final

All sales are final. Los Fresnos Rodeo does not offer refunds unless explicitly stated by the organization or mandated by law. This "no refund" policy applies to all ticket purchases, e-commerce merchandise, and service fees. We are unable to accommodate refund requests based on:

  • Changes in personal plans or "buyer’s remorse."
  • Travel disruptions or transportation issues.
  • Inclement weather (the Rodeo is a "rain or shine" event).
  • Changes to the artist, performer, or entertainment lineup.
  • Venue modifications or logistical adjustments.

Disputes and Chargebacks

Disputing charges processed by Los Fresnos Rodeo or its partners (Saffire/SaffireTix) through your banking institution is not a valid method for obtaining a refund. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in the purchaser being blacklisted and banned from all future purchases at Los Fresnos Rodeo.

Event Cancellations

In the event of a total cancellation or significant rescheduling by Los Fresnos Rodeo, ticket holders will be notified promptly. Alternative arrangements or refunds may be offered at the sole discretion of the Los Fresnos Rodeo Committee. For non-event e-commerce purchases, any product or service not fulfilled due to a decision by the Rodeo will be subject to a refund or credit at our discretion.

III. General Admission & Grounds Policies

Entry Requirements

  • Age: All persons over the age of two (2) must present a valid ticket to enter ticketed areas.
  • Format: Tickets must be presented in their original format. Mobile tickets are the only acceptable form of digital entry. Screenshots or photographs of tickets will be rejected.
  • Search and Security: For the safety of all patrons, all ticket holders and their belongings are subject to search upon entry. Prohibited items will be confiscated, and a list of such items is available at LFRodeo.com and posted at security checkpoints.
  • Animal Policy: While we value our pet-friendly community, pets of any kind are prohibited on the fairgrounds for the safety of the livestock and patrons. Exceptions are made exclusively for service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Photography and Filming

  • Likeness Release: By entering the grounds, you grant Los Fresnos Rodeo an unrestricted license to use your image, likeness, name, and voice in any photograph, video, or audio recording for promotional purposes without further compensation.
  • Personal Use: Cameras and handheld devices are permitted for personal, non-commercial use only. Professional lenses (exceeding three inches), flash attachments, monopods, tripods, and selfie sticks are strictly prohibited.
  • Concert Restrictions: Due to contractual obligations with performers, video and audio recording inside the arena during concert performances is strictly prohibited.
  • Media: Any professional media or news coverage must be approved by the Los Fresnos Rodeo Marketing Department prior to the event. All attendees must abide by PRCA Media Guidelines.

IV. Ticketing Logistics and Resale

Authorized Outlets

Only tickets purchased from the following authorized sources are eligible for support or consideration in the event of a cancellation:

  1. LFRodeo.com (via Saffire/SaffireTix)
  2. Los Fresnos Rodeo Box Office or phone sales center.
  3. The City of Los Fresnos or Los Fresnos Police Department.
  4. Official retail partners: Stitch Garden or Boot Jack stores in the Rio Grande Valley.

Service Fees

All online, in-app, and phone purchases are subject to non-refundable Service & Processing Fees based on the face value of the ticket. These fees are levied by the ticketing platforms and credit card processors.

Resale Restrictions

Los Fresnos Rodeo forbids the resale or attempted resale of tickets at a price higher than the face value printed on the ticket. Any ticket found to be resold for a profit is subject to seizure and immediate cancellation without refund.

V. Safety and Conduct

Unaccompanied Minors

All minors aged 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian over the age of 18. Unaccompanied minors will be escorted to onsite security for the safe return to a legal guardian.

Weapons Policy

Los Fresnos Rodeo maintains a family-friendly environment and enforces a strict weapons-free policy.

  • Prohibited Items: Firearms, knives with fixed blades, blades longer than four inches, and weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited.
  • Legal Notice (Texas Penal Code):
    • Section 30.06: Pursuant to Section 30.06, Penal Code (Trespass by License Holder with a Concealed Handgun), a person licensed under Subchapter H, Chapter 411, Government Code, may not enter this property with a concealed handgun.
    • Section 30.07: Pursuant to Section 30.07, Penal Code (Trespass by License Holder With an Openly Carried Handgun), a person licensed under Subchapter H, Chapter 411, Government Code, may not enter this property with a handgun that is carried openly.

VI. Policy Amendments and Governance

The Los Fresnos Rodeo Committee reserves the final and absolute right to interpret these policies and settle all matters or disputes arising from them. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time by posting a change notice on LFRodeo.com. Any ticket holder who violates these policies forfeits all privileges and may be subject to removal or penalties as determined by the Committee.
