Getting to the Rodeo & Parking Information

Beat the Parking Line!

The Biggest Little Rodeo in Texas is still a small rodeo but we have grown in recent years with over 25,000 people enjoying our event over the 3 days. With that growth, we have been experiencing long parking lines leading up to rodeo performance times as we only have one parking entrance. We take pride in our event and want you and your fellow rodeo fans to enjoy the event and not deal with any experience delays. To ensure your best experience we recommend the following:
  1. MOST IMPORTANTLY, arrive early! We have great entertainment and fun starting hours before performance times. We suggest arriving at least 2 hours before each day’s rodeo performance time. Gates open at 5pm on Friday, 1pm on Saturday, and Noon on Sunday.
  2. Buy your rodeo tickets online.
  3. Have your $10 cash ready for the parking crew upon arrival.
  4. Bring exact change to help keep the line moving.
  5. Carpool with as many friends and family as you can. (It saves you money!)
  6. Walk! Pedestrians are FREE to enter the fairgrounds as we only have a parking fee and not an entrance fee. The City of Los Fresnos does not charge for street parking. You are welcome to legally park nearby and walk to the entrance. Do not park on the shoulder or right-of-way of HWY 100 and do not jaywalk across HWY 100.

Parking Information

  • The parking fee is $10 per car. You will pay this fee as you enter the fairgrounds. This fee gets you access to the local band stage, attractions, the carnival, livestock show, vendor booths, and the home show exhibits!
  • Please bring exact change and be ready with your $10 in hand for the parking crew. This keeps the line moving.
  • Due to the nature of the event, on-site parking is limited and spaces are on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Once you park, you are parked for the day. Due to limited space, there are no in-and-out privileges. If you leave, you will have to wait in line & pay the parking fee again.

Drop Offs & Pick Ups

Due to having only one entrance, a designated Pick Up and Drop Off lane is not possible.

To prevent waiting in traffic, we advise turning from 1847/S. Arroyo Blvd onto East 5th Street and driving east for a drop-off behind the First Baptist Church of Los Fresnos at 331 E 5th St, Los Fresnos, TX 78566.

After drop off or pick up, head south (turn right) on Ebano Street to get back to 1847/S. Arroyo Blvd.

Pedestrians that are unable to walk on unlevel ground or any younger pedestrians that struggle with walking distances will need to wait in the traffic line to get closer to the main entrance.

Pedestrians must obey all roadway laws. Do not jaywalk across Highway 100.

ADA Parking Information

Accessible parking is offered for guests with appropriate permits. Please have a permit available and visible for parking personnel upon entering the gates. Spaces are limited and are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Getting Here

Los Fresnos Rodeo is accessible only through HWY 100.

Use the address 500 E Ocean Blvd, Los Fresnos, TX 78566 for GPS. Parking attendants will then direct drivers down Rodeo Drive for entrance to the grounds.
